In a direct comparison between the Mysoda Glassy and Sodastream Crystal models, Glassy is the clear winner. Quality, bottle size, carbonation process and handling - in short, I like everything about the device from Finland better. With the Sodastream device, closing the carbonator is a small effort every time, which I couldn't manage with a sprained hand, for example - here the Glassy has a clear advantage in terms of comfort.

Visually, the sparkling water maker makes quite an impression: wood composite and aluminium create a high-quality look and a robust feel. A sliding door ensures efficiency and safety during the carbonation process, also when using glass bottles. At around 3,300 grams, the Glassy weighs enough so that it is stable but is still easy to move. Two 0.85-litre bottles are included: one made of glass and one made of PET. The glass bottle is dishwasher-safe, but not easy to carry with you; the plastic version is convenient on the go, but not dishwasher-safe - just like the lids of both bottles. The appliance is easy to clean with a damp cloth."
