Kärcher becomes the lead investor in Mysoda, the Finnish manufacturer of sustainable sparkling water makers. This series A round funding provides Mysoda with the means to accelerate growth on a global level and benefit from competencies of Kärcher in various operational and strategic sectors.

MYSODA WINS VOTED PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2022 TITLE IN FRANCE

Mysoda drink mix assortment was elected as the Voted Product of the Year in France. The Voted Product of the Year is an annual consumer survey conducted within 10 000 households about new product innovations. The winners are elected completely based on the voice of the consumers.

MYSODA SPARKLING WATER MAKERS ENTER NEW MARKETS WITH AQIPA

Mysoda and Austrian consumer electronics distributor Aqipa start co-operation regarding the distribution of Mysoda’s products in several European markets. The agreement covers the sales and marketing of Mysoda’s sparkling water makers, CO2 products and beverage concentrates in five new markets: Germany, Austria, UK, Ireland and Poland.

With the Mysoda CO2-cylinder, you can make up to 40-60 liters of fizzy drinks. Our bubbles are guilt free - the cylinders are filled with local, food-grade carbon-dioxide, and filled in Roihupelto, Helsinki by using wind power.

HOW TO MAKE SPARKLING WATER

Carbonating at home is easy, eco-friendly and cost-effective. The Mysoda sparkling water makers work without electricity, so you can place the device anywhere you want in your kitchen. Instead of using fossil-based plastic, the body of our device is made from wood-based composite. Our CO2-cylinders are filled locally in Helsinki by using wind power.

Mysoda Woody sparkling water maker has been awarded the iF gold award 2021 in the iF DESIGN AWARD design competition. The annual iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world. An international jury of design professionals selected the winners this year from nearly 10,000 submissions, awarding the iF gold award to just 75 entrants.

INTERNATIONAL RED DOT DESIGN AWARD FOR FINNISH MYSODA

Mysoda Woody sparkling water maker has won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021 in the Kitchen Appliances and Kitchen Accessories category. The Red Dot Award has been an international recognition of quality design since 1955 and is considered one of the most prestigious design awards in the world.

MYSODA LAUNCHES ITS PRODUCTS FOR SALE IN THE NETHERLANDS

Mysoda and Dutch NXT Retail start co-operation on the representation of Mysoda’s products in the Netherlands. The agreement covers the import, marketing and distribution of Mysoda’s sparkling water makers, exchange gases, extra gases and beverage concentrates to Dutch retailers.

WOOD COMPOSITE – RENEWABLE RAW MATERIALS REPLACE FOSSIL-BASED PLASTICS IN THE MANUFACTURE OF SPARKLING WATER MAKERS

Mysoda has developed a range of sparkling water makers made of wood composite, which is made almost entirely of renewable raw materials. Development work has been carried out together with UPM Biocomposites. Small kitchen appliances have traditionally been made of fossil-based plastic, so the result of the development work will significantly reduce the product’s carbon footprint and raise the product group’s environmental friendliness to a whole new level.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN?

It all started with a question that was not being answered well enough. The question was: Why should the carbon dioxide and beverage concentrates used in sparkling water makers be transported on rubber wheels from one end of Europe to the other?
