Not all bubbles are created equal

As harmless as bubbles might sound, they can actually tax the planet’s resources. We wanted to make guilt-free bubbles for happier moments. Mysoda CO2 cylinders (gas bottles for sparkling water makers) only contain gas that has been carefully filtered, cleansed and turned into the cleanest possible form of C02! We fill the cylinders in our own factories in Finland and France using environmentally friendly wind and solar power.

What to know about Mysoda CO2

Where can I get it?

Mysoda cylinders are available for exchange at in Finland, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Additional CO2 cylinders can be purchased from our webshop and on Amazon for most European countries. We are not delivering Extragas (additional CO2 cylinders) to several countries such as Ireland and Cyprus through the Mysoda webshop due to shipping restrictions on hazardous goods. Which cylinders are compatible with Mysoda sparkling water makers?

Cylinders produced by other manufacturers are also compatible with Mysoda sparkling water makers as long as these cylinders use the common screw-on mechanism for attaching them to the device. Quick Connect cylinders are not compatible with Mysoda devices. You can learn more about identifying a compatible CO2 cylinder here. We do not recommend to use flavoured Sodataste cylinders with Mysoda Glassy as possible foaming during the carbonation cannot be noticed due to the closed door safety mechanism.

MYSODA CO2 COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER SPARKLING WATER MAKERS

Mysoda CO2 cylinders are compatible with sparkling water makers from different manufacturers such as Aarke, Sodapop, Aga and Sodastream (except Sodastream models using Quick Connect cylinders).

We are happy to recycle any cylinder and fill them with local CO2 over and over again. The lifecycle of a cylinder is up to 40 years!

How many liters of water does one CO2 cylinder make?

With each cylinder you can make 40-60 litres of sparkling water, depending on the carbonation level and the type of sparkling water maker.

We recommend keeping 1-3 extra cylinders at home so you never run out of bubbles.

How to exchange the CO2 cylinder?

Next time you’re heading grocery shopping, bring your empty CO2 cylinder with you. Find the dedicated exchange point in the shop (usually at the info desk or at the cashier). Exchange your empty cylinder for a filled one. You only pay for the bubbles, not the cylinder itself. Protect the environment and always remember to ask for locally produced CO2.

Safety

We ensure the quality and safety of our cylinders by always using only high-quality food-grade carbon dioxide and following the local and EU regulations and our safety process when filling and transporting them. Our cylinders are regularly inspected by an authorised third party. To guarantee safety usage and storage of CO2 cylinders, each cylinder has a safety valve that will harmlessly release the gas in the unlikely event that the pressure of the cylinder rises above the safe level.
