The Mysoda Woody sparkling water maker has been awarded the Green Good Design Award 2023 in Chicago USA.
According to the Architecture Critic and Chicago Athenaeum Museum President/CEO, Christian Narkiewicz-Laine, the awarded entries in 2023 focused on minimizing the negative impact on the environment by offering sustainable day-to-day alternatives for everyday use. “Sustainability is a form of development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Instead of fossil-based plastic its body is made of renewable-based wood composite which significantly lowers its carbon footprint. The GREEN GOOD DESIGN award is a special edition of the original GOOD DESIGN, presented to the most important products, projects and innovations that lead the way towards a fully sustainable design. The GREEN GOOD DESIGN is organized by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
An international jury consisting of experts evaluates and identifies the products, projects and innovations with the most outstanding design quality from hundreds of entries from all over the world.
